Adorable little snakes have a construction job that they are working on.  They ride big trucks and shovel and work together.  The equipment makes hissing and engine noises and the snakes making happy and hissing noises when the playground project is complete.  

The bright bold snakes with their adorable yellow hard hats make this book hard to resist.  If you have a reader who enjoys trucks, then they will enjoy watching the snakes work on their project.  This also makes for a fun read aloud because the snakes and truck brakes make a “hissing” noise.  I do think this book would work better as a board book, but these large-eyed adorable snakes will entertain young readers.
