AUDIENCE APPEAL: HIGH
Nate is a purple alien who has
been sent to earth to find pizza. While
on earth, Nate meets Fazel and they become fast friends. Fazal shows Nate many likable things about
the human world, while avoiding the government workers who are trying to
capture Nate. Eventually, Nate realizes
that he needs to get back home to his planet Vega. With the help of his new friends he fuels up
his spacecraft and heads back to space.
Nate is adorable and the quick friendship between Nate and Fazal is a
good example of how to accept people and their differences. The illustrations are bright and appealing,
and this is a great simple graphic novel for younger readers. Adorable!
