Global Kids is a set of activity cards to get your kids thinking and acting globally. Each card contains a large illustration and a short introduction to the activity, then, turn the card over for a complete description - including the country's flag, detailed instructions for doing the activity and sometimes additional fun facts. Cards are divided into 5 categories: Help Out, Celebrate, Eat, Play and Create.
I love the whimsical illustrations of the multicultural kids. The activities are engaging, some need grownup help, but a 6th-7th grader can certainly do almost everything on their own. This would be a fun addition to a classroom - fun "station ideas" if you are studying a certain country or idea.
