Bernard is a wolf - he's not scary, in fact, he's sad. Not only isn't he fierce or fast, unless he's wearing his glasses, he can't see very well. Not your average hidden picture books. Agnese Baruzzi's illustrations are great - some pages are busier than others, each illustration has 3 questions to search for the answer to, as well as an additional task provided by Bernards friends. I got lost playing in the pages of both books. Not as difficult as "Where's Waldo" a pre-schooler would be able to find the right pictures, but it's a challenge to find them all.
