AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE

The authors are a married couple who created these 12 different affirmations with simple poems to inspire children and build their positive self-outlook.

This is such an important book, full of positivity and empowerment. I loved the representation. I loved the sweet illustrations. I loved the overall message. This would be a great addition to any classroom library or SEL lesson. That being said, I do think this would be more popular with adults than with children.

Little Crue is on the adventure of a lifetime, sailing the high seas with his Great-Uncle Ollie. Despite the many scary events and storms that arise, Great-Uncle Ollie teaches Crue how to face each challenge with serenity and peace of mind.

This is a charming little book that helps address anxiety and stress with little audiences. The illustrations are so adorable, and I loved the overall message of the story. It would be a great addition to the SEL collection in your library.
