Benny is scared to go swimming because he learned about sharks in his class. On his way back from the beach a shark starts following him and even spends the night sleepwalking around his room. After the shark returns to the ocean, Benny finds he is no longer afraid of the ocean.

This is a great transition book from picture books to chapter books. The story is predictable which leaves it a little dry, but also makes it easy for new chapter book readers to follow.
