BUYING ADVISORY: PRE-K, EL (K-3) – ADVISABLE

AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE

Annalise refuses to take a nap, so her father takes her for a walk in the stroller.  As they walk through town, everyone else seems to need a nap from the construction workers to the kids playing baseball in the park.  Soon enough, everyone is taking a nap but Annalise and that makes Annalise tired.  When she finally gives in to the nap, the whole town enjoys the silence.

Annalise, and her two little pigtails, is the cutest stubborn toddler.  This is a new take on a bedtime story that will be appreciated by younger readers.  The illustrations of the sleeping people in town was funny and it does make you tired.  Fun new concept for a bedtime story.
