There is a big snowstorm, and Father Squirrel is looking for a safe place for Mother Squirrel and their 5 babies. The regular places - holes in trees - already have occupants, but then Father Squirrel discovers a lost wool glove in the snow - perfect, on finger for each of the babies and Mother Squirrel will fit in the rest - but there's not enough room for him, so Father Squirrel must hunkerdown outside and hope for the best, until the boy who lost the glove returns to get it.

Bo Jin's story was delightful! Li Li's illustration of the family safe and warm inside the glove - so cute. I loved the father's determination to protect his family in a terrible storm, and his face - ahh! A fun story with a heartfelt message.
