After a big snow, the animals are hungry. Rabbit sets out to find some food and comes across a huge and beautiful radish. Because he is generous, he thinks his friend Monkey would enjoy it and takes it to her - but Monkey isn't home so he leaves it, when Monkey returns with the nuts she found, she sees the radish, and immediately thinks Deer would like it, each animal shares the radish with the next until eventually it gets back to Rabbit, who would want the radish most of all.
A sweet story with adorable illustrations. Good talking points with the children about being generous, and having the good things you do come back to you. A repeated section when each animal is looking for food - so it makes a fun read aloud or bedtime story.
