Children all over the world are similar and different, all at once. Barefoot books asks the reader questions like, Where do you live? What are you special places? What does your family look like? What do YOU look like - Children come is all shapes and sizes. What do you like to do? How do you play? What is your work? What do you eat? What language do you speak and many more questions. Each is accompanied by several illustrated examples from around the world.

Barefoot Books has given us a beautiful experience, looking into the lives of children all over the world! Then, to make it even more educational, each question is addressed again with more information and identifying the illustrations - which country they came from and what is going on in each. A fun read that can be looked at again and again - sparking conversations and empathy. Loved it!
