Each wet season a large (2000) herd of zebras appears at the Chobe River. Each dry season the herd completely disappears – no one in the vicinity knows where they disappear to. Its not until 2013 that a scientist researching elephants decides to tackle the mystery.
Markle has given us another succinct, yet ample look at another wild animal. With over 200 books, she can fill an entire bookcase! I love the especially, like this one, that combine her writing with gorgeous photo illustrations.
