Humpty Dumpty is unhappy living
within the confines of his kingdom. He
decides to build a ladder and see what is on the other side of the wall. The next morning, the shell of Humpty is
found and everyone in town tries to speculate what happened, but if closely inspected
you can see the smile on Humpty’s face.
Story-wise this book is a bit confusing and open-ended. The art, however, is amazing and would make
the book essential if the text could be more clear. I think the overall idea is that Humpty inspired
others to look past the boundaries placed in front of them, but as for what
happens to Humpty he appears to just be a cracked shell with a smile on his face.
