Usually Bea and Henry are best of friends and share everything. Today, though Henry is very quiet and sad and he won’t tell Bea what’s wrong. Even though they are on a class field trip to a farm, Henry won’t open up.  But Bea persists and together they will share Henry’s burden.

Bagley’s tale of grief and the strength of friendship is a nice addition to the few books about grieving and death for children.  I guess its time for me to make a Pinterest board to gather them all together.  Be on the look out.
