Orris the rat is happy with his life just as it is within the walls of the old barn. When he finds the baby owl, Timble, with its foot stuck in the mouse trap, though, Orris has to make a big decision.
A very sweet little book that parents will enjoy reading with their children. Orris mentions one of Aesop's fables - The Lion and the Mouse; a teacher could use it as a jumping-off point to study Aesop with students. Mok's illustrations set the mood in all good ways. I'm certain DiCamillo's latest will be gifted by many.
