An inspiring and timely picture book to empower future artists and creators out there to be more intentional and reflective with their work to address local and world problems. I especially loved the digital brush artwork that accompanied the text. It was inclusive, inspiring, and thoughtful. It could be used as an introduction to a social justice unit or any unit where students have to pick an issue they care about.
