The little turtle is stuck on its back. None of the animals passing by seem to actually want to help it. Maybe the opossum can help by being a friend.
The turtle's predicament is awfully adorable. I was a little mad at the animals who weren't helpful and I even wondered at the opossum - but the author's short note at the back helped bring things into perspective. A little zen, without being didactic.
