What part do tigers play in the ecological survival of their habitats? With only 4000 left in the wild, it is more important than ever to protect them.
Williams has written a handful of these books - this one less successful than some of the others. The people portrayed in the pages all seem to be smiling - even as the tigers disappear and the habitat degrades. Plus, the effects on the habitat are hard to understand from the illustrations - it all looks like muddy water to me. The people depicted are from Southeast Asia.
