Rish and Creighton-Pester take us through the intelligence of several members of the animal kingdom. 

I like the illustrations rather than photos that accompany Rish's writing. She gives examples of experiments that scientists have conducted with animals, and in some cases has anecdotes about animal-human interactions. I like that Rish shows us that animals are neither mindless, nor dumb.
