 A little girl, her grandfather, and her mother are enjoying the beach.  As they play, the girl thinks about the times that the tide of her grandfather’s memory ebbs and flows, comparing it to times she also forgets things.  She reminds herself to enjoy the tide of memory when it is in and remember for him when the tide is out.
