Harold and Hog are a "real" elephant and a "real" pig who love Mo Willems characters Elephant and Piggy so much, they decide to pretend they ARE Elephant and Piggy. The problem is, Hog's personality is not like Piggy's and Harold is too carefree to act like Elephant. Can they pretend to be best friends when they are not like their counterparts? Wait . . . they are already best friends!
Dan Santat has adapted these characters perfectly. I love their cartoon masks (Piggy's cartoon nose, Elephant's line drawn glasses), their word bubble conversations and the silly situation they are in. Perfect for fans of Mo Willems.
