Maisy
and her friends go to a farm. They help
feed the animals, drive a tractor and tend the garden. At the end of the day they help put the
animals to bed.
This Maisy book has simple
text with one line descriptions and the illustrations are bright and attractive. My one issue with this book is that Maisy is
a mouse and her friends are a squirrel and chicken, but they are helping tend
to horses, chickens and pigs on a farm—the mix of human-like animals and farm
animals was a big confusing. This book
has a fold out farm at the back, which is similar to paper dolls, making it not
really suitable for a library.
