Cynthia Lord and her family fosters bunnies to help acclimate them to living in people’s homes. Through the story of one set of rabbits that came to them, Lord teaches us about the challenges and joys of fostering or owning a rabbit.

The illustrators use a nice mix of photographs and drawings to highlight the story.  There may be a rash of bunny adoptions or fosterings after reading this book.
