Cosmoe and his friends, the half-evil, half-awesome Princess Dagger and Humphree the space pirate, are back in book two where they meet up with Crostin’s Cosmic Carnival that isn’t all it seems. Unless what it seems is truly evil. Fortunately, mere aliens and insensate evil are no match for the powers of adolescence.
It is not necessary to read book one before book two. As promised, the book delivers more wieners, more action, and more monsters. Who knew that an exploding wiener could be so powerful? The plot feels like Thor fighting the Hulk crashed into Mad Magazine. Hold on to your butt. It’s a wild ride again, if a little tiresome. Preteens may duel me to the death for saying that though.
