The little boy who wants everything. He lists outrageous claims and insists they are his. He refuses to eat his food, and go to bed when he is told. His parents respond calmly and try and reason with him.

I WANT EVERYTHING is short and to the point. The voice of the parents is calm and collected, which I think is the point of the book. This book seems more to try and teach parents that they should be calm than to teach children to not act spoiled. It is completely unreasonable, as the book makes it look like a simple response from a parent will get an angry, strong-willed child to quit playing, clean up toys, and go to bed willingly and happily. The back of the book has a note to the reader that gives parental tips that are far more helpful than reading this book to the child would do.
