I’m not even sure how to describe to you what’s going on inside Perkins’s book. It is something that needs to be experienced. The mixed-media illustrations are a huge draw; I wondered as I turned each page what I would see. My favorite – the book in the Sky Museum. I do think the story is a bit hard to initially fall into, but once the Museum starts building, the wonder starts increasing.
