Rasmus, the little Dragon, leaves his best friend Rosie behind to to go find more dragons. He finds them and they are big, scare and fire breathing. Rasmus is intimidated and scared. They dragons are rude, and try to scare Rasmus. They make fun of him for wanting to fly his kite. Rosie comes to the rescue, and Rasmus finds a new friend.
When Rasmus faces real dragons he becomes really frightened.
I liked how Rasmus faces up to his fears and stands up for himself with the help of Rosie and his new friend. The story is delightful and teaches children that is is OK not be like everybody else. It is OK to be kind, and do good things. The illustrations in this books are just amazing! Beautiful and expressive. I am sure everyone that picks up this darling book will love it. Enjoy!
