There’s a new girl next door who wants to be friend, but Ninja is a bit shy and isn’t sure if he can – ninjas are supposed to be mysterious and alone, right? But maybe adventures are meant to be shared. 

Very cute illustrations, great message – the mostly rhyming text, not so much. The times where the rhythm and meter are off are jarring. Try to delight in the pictures – avoid reading aloud.
