The narrator tries desperately to keep the story of Hansel and Gretel on the traditional track, but the children have other ideas.
In order to enjoy the splendid silliness of this retold tale, make sure you’ve read the original to your students first. Then you can all enjoy the character/narrator interaction and all its silliness. Taylor’s illustrations add a bright, funky atmosphere to this story with just the right comedic touch.
