A mother and father take their baby on a canal ride through Venice as they lull their child to sleep.
Binney’s illustrations and nice and dreamy. I can picture a family reading this book in a darkened room with lights dancing on the walls and ceiling. The parent calls the child baby throughout, so that audience is limited. It would certainly make a great board book.
