Hettie the polar bear loves his hats. He has a lot of hats, but will not share them with anyone. Puffin comes to visit and he needs a hat because it is so cold. Hettie offers to share all kinds of thing to comfort Puffin, but not her hats. Then Puffin has a great idea, what about swapping a fuzzy scarf for a hat? Can they be friends and share hats and scarves? A darling story that shows the joy of sharing.

I loved the story and thought it would be great for little children. The illustrations are colorful and fun. There are so many things to talk with small children about in the pictures. They could identify and locate each different hat, or many other things. Kids will love having this book read to them, I am sure.
