12yo Lady Agatha has been cast out of her castle home by her father’s heir – the despicable Cousin Clarence. Clarence has supposedly turned her over to her real father, Thomas Walters, a goose farmer, who won’t even tell Agatha who her birth mother is. Not only is Agatha determined to find out the truth of her history, but the mystery of the girl made of light also haunts her. With the help of Bryn, the apprentice to the local gravedigger, Agatha hopes she can unravel the mysteries and perhaps thwart her odious cousin at the same time.

While purported to be a ghost story, Agatha’s story is much more about the adventure in figuring what family is, that also happens to involve ghostly sightings. Good for what it does.
