Beatrice Bly considers herself a kid super spy. She loves solving mysteries and feels prepared to help when the class hamster goes missing. She uses all the skills she's learned about observation, taking notes, etc and follows a hunch to find Edgar the Hamster before the day is out.
This is a fun little story that I suspect kids will appreciate. I liked Beatrice as a character and the story didn't feel entirely unbelievable which made it even more fun. The illustrations have a great color palette and I'd be happy to read this out loud to my kids again and again. I think this is meant to be a series and I look forward to reading what comes next.
