BUYING ADVISORY: Pre K - OPTIONAL
AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE
Baby tastes a strawberry and wonders what taste is? Flavor molecules in the food attach to the receptors on babies tongue! Combined with the smell of the food, baby can taste things that are salty, bitter, umami, sweet and sour.
Darling Illustrations, I love that the babies make faces that the reader can imitate. Accurate scientific information with scientific grown up words (molecules, gustatory cortex) I think parents will feel cool reading this to their kids, especially if their adult friends overhear the book. However, I think this is one parents will enjoy more than the children.
