These animals live in the jungle: a gorilla, poison dart frog, chameleon, tiger, spider monkey, butterfly, anaconda, jaguar, sloth and toucan. Each is identified as a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore, there are flaps to lift for more information and, although they are illustrated in their environment they are interacting with a child (safely I presume - to facilitate the catchphrase "Hello _______!).
AJ loved lifting the flaps - there is another illustration under the flab, and the backside has an interesting fact - her favorite was the baby sloth when you lifted the flap on the sloth's belly. Part of the "Animal Facts and Flaps" series, Hello, Tiger! is fun interactive book with pretty sturdy flaps. Would be lots of fun in an elementary library or kindergarten classroom.
