Interrupting Cow loves telling her famous Knock Knock joke, but the other farm animals are avoiding her because they are tired of hearing it. Feeling lonely, she wanders out to the road and meets a Rooster who wants to cross the road. The two bond over shared joke dilemmas and find a friend they both desperately need.
This book does a great job of improving reading skills, but falls a little flat in the actual story. I read it twice and found myself a bit puzzled by the story both times. If you are hoping to expand your library of Level 2 Ready to Read books, go ahead and get this one. But if you're looking for a great story I'd look elsewhere.
