A non-fiction book to help young
readers learn Addition and Subtraction in a fun and easy step by step way.
Readers are guided along by a cartoon mouse and a cartoon version of the author
as they introduce a variety of methods for learning the same concept, math
games, and fun tricks. Lots of cartoon illustrations throughout.
This is a fantastic book for a
parent or tutor to use with a child struggling with math. Its presentation is
fun and appealing. I love that the author uses lots of different ways to teach
similar concepts, so the reader has a better chance of finding out what works
for them. The only way I could see adding this to your school library is if you
had a parent resource section. I would recommend it highly for a parent looking
to help their child at home.
