After the zookeepers have gone home, animal parents
must round up their animal babies and get them to bed. After bath time, drinks of water, and
brushing of teeth, the zoo babies are finally sound asleep. “When everyone is settled in, let’s whisper a
big “thank you!” And know that God is in control- Even when it is a zoo.”
Time for bed! Parker and Allyn bring us a delightful bedtime story. Readers will delight to find adorable mice are
found on each page of this colorful board book!
At times the mice are holding the water hose to bath the baby
elephants. Other times the mice are
rowing in a tiny boat with a lantern leading their way. The mice just might be
our favorite part of Night Night, Zoo! The phrase, “Night night” is highlighted on each page to invite
readers to say goodnight to each of the zoo animals babies. Zoo signs are posted at the bottom of each
page highlight the next zoo animal to be discovered as the page is turned. The illustrations are very detailed and
brilliantly created. The text is in
rhyme. Night Night, Zoo invites children to say "Night night!" to
each animal and to the loving God who made them.
