This melodic and soothing picture book is more poem than story. The narrator offers the reader a variety of tools for a variety of activities. “Here’s a cherry if you need a snack and if you get itchy here’s a scratch on the back.”
I read this book and kept looking for connections between all the offers, but could never find one. The illustrations are a cute balance between modern and playful. This is a calming book that could easily be used as a bedtime story.
