A little girl is not tired at all. As she entertains herself in her room, she sees things that might be frightening. But she decides that she is brave, strong, and five, so instead of calling for her parents she can investigate and uncover reality herself – until she really is tired and goes to sleep.
Much better than I thought it would be. Even though it mentions being five, it is a good read for anyone who is either not interested in going to sleep or scared of the dark. Another good bedtime book.
