Moby and Toby are at the beach and plenty of people need rescuing. It’s too bad Toby’s ninja powers are acting up. Thank goodness Toby is there to help him pull it all together and save the day.
Flowers has written other Moby books, but this is a new series for Scholastic Acorn. I have to wonder about the rhyming for this early reader – I think rhyming is best for books meant to be read to a young reader, not as a early book for them to read alone. This brought down its appeal for me.
