Lana Lynn is a little lamb who doesn't want to do the things that sheep do, she wants to run through the woods, howl at the moon and stay up late. So one night, she disguises herself as a wolf and spends the night running wild - she does all the things she's always wanted to do and by morning, the wolves have invited her home - - - for dinner!
Well, Fiddle-dee-dee! Van Slyke's fable had a lot going for it, I loved the repeated phrases, the puns and Sandu's darling illustrations. However, for a children's picture book it was a bit dark - this lamb is wearing a wolf skin as her disguise, and the dinner offerings are a bit unsettling.
