Told in rhyme, this is the story of a mom who takes her two kids to do some Christmas shopping. One of the kids brought along a toy elephant and they play together during all of the many shopping stops. At the end of the day they realize that the toy elephant is gone. They retrace their steps and then ultimately find the elephant in the baby’s stroller.
The rhyme of this text is fun and catchy, but the story doesn’t have a lot of appeal. Following this family around shopping and then trying to find a lost elephant left me kind of stressed. I was hoping it would wrap up with a message, but it didn’t even attempt to make something bigger out of the plot.
