While playing catch with his favorite friend, Papillon the cat accidentally swallows his toy. Papillon is plagued with hiccups as a result, and can no longer jump and float as he used to.  Miss Tilly, Papillon's owner, takes him to the vet. During his stay, Papillon's chronic hiccups help dislodge the toy and he is as good as new again.  

This is a sweet story of a lovable cat.  Papillon's visit to the vet is a simple way to introduce the concept of community helpers and the different jobs they perform.  The illustrations really bring the story to life and give it a fun and whimsical feel.
