This book goes through all the things that Squeak the Mouse likes about the house he lives in. He likes the books and the cozy spot inside of sneakers. He especially likes when the little girl in the house spills her bowl of treats and he can sneak some. This is an “I Like to Read” level C book.    

This is a good leveled book for a kindergarten reader. The illustrations are old-fashioned in a way that is trendy but a tad boring - lots of pastels and muted colors.
