On each page an organism says it will eat something smaller, but then open the pages and there is something higher on the food chain ready to eat them!
Board Book? Picture Book? Interactive, for sure. Author and illustrator cover several different biomes in their simple exploration of food chains. A great introduction to the concept, but you should back it up with an explanation of food webs, too.
