AUDIENCE APPEAL: LOW

This particular Exploration Station is not as fun as the Space one I earlier blogged about.  The 40 page booklet tries to cover the entire world.  While it does it very well, it is just a very quick superficial look at the world.  The inflatable globe is a nice touch – it will be very fun as a beach ball afterwards.  The map and stickers will just be too crowded once they have all been placed.  

My favorite part of the whole kit are the three 3-D models – The Taj Mahal, a pyramid, and the Eiffel Tower would be nice pieces to keep on a shelf.  All in all, this will be more appreciated if it is a joint exploration between child an adult with perhaps a bit of Internet thrown in to augment the information.
