"Who Was Salvidor Dali" is a book that follows the famous surrealist painter Dali, who's art still influences our culture today. By looking at reality in a different perspective, Dali was one of the main founders of the surrealist movement. We see some of his art through the illustrations and learn about the massive impact they had on the entire world. Adults and kids alike would benefit from learning about his history and the art he's created. The book is also in chronological order and is outfitted with timelines of Dali's history and history around the world, giving us a different point of view of his life and being able to follow closer.

Manzanero gives a great demonstration of showing modern art to younger kids as well as explaining why art had such an impact. Explaining Dali's life allows us to see just how big of an influence he had. We can all be inspired through art, no matter how old we are.
