Majorie misses her grandma. Her grandma could be counted on to knit with her, keep her company, and give her advice on baking. One day, Majorie saw a sign for a Senior Center. She got an idea! She was going to go join the senior group, however, the front desk said she should go join the kids club instead. So, after dressing up as an old woman, she begins making friends with the seniors. Will the seniors discover that she is really just a kid?
Aitken's book was adorable. It addresses the possible loss of a grandparent and how a granddaughter processes it. It is filled with humor and cute illustrations.
