Kelp was born in the ocean. His horn wasn't as long as his narwhal friends. He wasn't great at swimming and liked to eat different foods than him. Then one night as he was swimming, he saw a unicorn standing on land. Hmm, that unicorn looked a lot like him! He decided to go explore and try to walk on land. Walking was a lot harder than he anticipated! After playing with unicorns, Kelp realized that he was a unicorn! What would he tell his narwhal friends? He sure wished he could be friends with narwhals and unicorns. Hopefully everyone can get along together!

My daughter and I liked this book because it was very obvious from the beginning that Kelp was a unicorn. This was a sweet story showing that you can be friends with everyone and being ok with who you are.
