The king of the jungle, Brian, needs to become a better friend. He starts off as an arrogant lion who believes he owns the jungle, but soon learns that how he treats his friends is more important than he thought.
I thought Stickley did a great job with the metaphor of being a controlling person or friend and learning how to consider what other people want, as well. We can apply things that Brian's friends told him to ourselves as well, constantly improving. This book is great for kids of all ages, especially those that struggle with making and keeping friends.
